Premium Munitions Armor Section Spring steel and Spring Stainless steel is heat treated, quenched, then tempered, to produce super-lightweight (1/3 the weight of steel and half the weight of stainless) yet practically undentable armor. Until recently, this was only available at small, expensive, boutique armories, but we are trying with our prices to bring it to the mainstream, and available to the average SCA fighter.
