Some people take the non-medieval step of welding two cop halves together because it is easier and they don't have to work the pieces as much as raising a cop from a flat piece of metal. We take the flat patterned cop piece and using both doming and raising techniques, bring it up to a good deep dish on our couters, poleyns, and cops. |
